Adirondack Fly Fishing While we have full one and two day fly fishing schools, we recognize the fact that many who wish to learn the fine art of fly fishing do not wish to spend two or three hundred dollars (often much more) for a two day school.

In the more than forty four years of teaching fly fishing and forty years of operating the largest fly shop on the Ausable River, I now offer FREE Barbeque and fly fishing clinics throughout the summer and fall months. These FREE Clinics and barbeques will aid in getting you started with free casting instructions as well as basic information on fly tying, balance of equipment, etc.

Adirondack Fly Fishing If you are interested in learning to fly fish, why not attend one of our FREE clinics and perhaps go one step beyond by taking a day on stream instruction with one of our licensed guides and certified instructors, Our fee for the day of on stream instructions with a licensed guide and certified instructor is one hundred ninety five dollars for one and one hundred fifty for each additional person. This includes lunch and your flies for the day.
